• Take measures to minimize waste generation,

• Complete the Waste Declaration Form each year regarding the type and quantity of waste generated and submit it to the Ministry,

• Store waste properly within the facility. (For this purpose, establish a temporary storage area with a concrete floor (or equivalent), ensured impermeability, and a covered structure; store waste in containers appropriate to its nature.)

• Obtain permission from the Provincial Governorship for keeping waste in temporary storage areas within the facility in accordance with the criteria set out in the regulation (for facilities generating more than 1,000 kg of waste per month),

• Prepare a three-year Waste Management Plan and obtain approval from the Provincial Governorship (preparation of the waste management plan),

• Dispose of waste in accordance with the principles of this regulation either using the company’s own resources or by using licensed waste disposal facilities and covering the required costs, and notify the competent authorities once disposal has been completed,

• Comply with applicable international standards for waste transportation,

• Ensure appropriate packaging and labeling for the waste generated.
